About Us
I am based at Tamworth, NSW, Australia. I offer a specialised service in designing one off creations for bridal and special occasion wear including jewellery and accessories made to complement the gown's design.
I work with the bride in the creation of the bridal gown ensuring the gown is complementary not only to the client's figure, complexion and individual styling but also a reflection of their personality and unique inner qualities.
My design themes vary to suit the brides taste be that modern, minimalistic and contemporary, fantasy, period era styles, alternative or classical elegance.
I offer an addition service of accessory and jewellery design ensuring the finishing touches are aesthetically true to the client's envisaged design.
I have over 30 years experience in designing and creating bridal couture. I am trained in all facets of garment design, pattermaking, assembly, fitting, tailoring, couture, finishing, fabric and garment detailing techniques and fabric dyeing.
My bridal gown designs have been featured on the cover of leading Australian bridal magazines, editorial and celebritiy shots such as Studio for Brides, Complete Wedding, Bride to Be, Sydney Bride, Studio Masters of Weddings, Studio Masters of Couture, Bride to Be Collections, Millenium Brides, Newcastle and Central Coast Weddings, Beautiful Brides, Style Magazine and Blue Mountains Life. I have participated in leading Sydney Bridal Exhibitions and parades such as Sydney Town Hall and Fox Studio parades.
I have made for brides from around the world offering them a personalised service often making their gown during their stay in Australia. This can be arranged by pre-booking my services.
All designs are individually designed, fitted and expertly made with couture finishing touches. Bridal gowns have a pre-gown fitting that allow for pre-gown adjustments to suit individual proportioning and preferences prior to cutting the bridal gown fabrics. The gown is progressively made following a series of fittings that allow for design development, weight adjustments and accessory co-ordination.
Fabrics can be selected at the initial design appointment with a fabric dyeing service offered to ensure the right colour can be provided. I work with natural, enviro and synthetic fibres.
Appointments are pre-booked for client convenience and time management. My design service is strictly by appointment only.
